KUALA TERENGGANU, Feb 9 (Bernama) -- The director of Yayasan Dakwah Islamiah Malaysia (YADIM) Terengganu, Nasrul Hadi Saiadin, died this evening, believed to be due to a heart attack.
Terengganu Yadim assistant director Ali Azfar Khairul Faiz, when contacted, said that Nasrul Hadi, 48, breathed his last at Tanah Merah Hospital, Kelantan, around 7.15 pm today.
“Earlier this evening, he fainted while in a car driven by his wife before being rushed to the hospital.
“The family was on their way back from a holiday in his hometown in Kedah and was heading towards Besut,” said Ali Azfar.
It is learnt that the late Nasrul Hadi, who hailed from Kuala Nerang, Kedah, was scheduled to attend a programme at Perhentian Island tomorrow.
His remains are still at Tanah Merah Hospital and details of the burial will be announced by his family later.
