Pahang Allocates RM2 Million For Felda Muafakat Secretariat

KUANTAN, Feb 13 (Bernama) -- The Pahang government has allocated RM2 million to mobilise the Pahang Felda Muafakat Secretariat and an additional RM500,000 to implement the Felda Generation Entrepreneur Development Programme under the Usahawan Makmur Programme this year.

Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail said that both allocations were expected to drive more initiatives beneficial to the Felda generation, particularly in the areas of economy, education, and social development.

“The Pahang Felda Muafakat Secretariat was set up to foster stronger ties between the state government and Felda residents, providing a platform for them to express their concerns, reach agreements, and resolve any issues.

“I believe this gives us the ability to face various challenges and realise the dream of building a more dynamic and prosperous Felda community,” he told a press conference after officiating the 2025 Pahang Felda Muafakat Secretariat Convention at the Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) Auditorium here today.

Wan Rosdy said that, in addition to the allocations, the Pahang Government, in collaboration with Felda, was offering 16,035 house lots to eligible new generations across the state under the Pahang Felda People’s Land Scheme Project (STRFP).

“We are implementing the STRFP project and as of Dec 31 last year, Felda had completed land survey work involving 63 Felda settlements throughout the state,” he said.

Meanwhile, Wan Rosdy said to date, 96 per cent or 41,286 out of 43,126 Felda settlers throughout Pahang have received their land titles.

“There is still four per cent remaining, and we will manage it as soon as possible,” he said.
