KUALA LUMPUR, March 7 (Bernama) -- Bank Muamalat Malaysia Bhd has launched three major campaigns in conjunction with Ramadan 2026 to appreciate customers and support micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through comprehensive Islamic financial solutions and attractive rewards.
The “Tazkirah Ramadan Terindah Bersama” campaign, which runs from Feb 18 to March 18, 2026, offers the public the opportunity to win various special prizes, including an Umrah or holiday package worth RM20,000, a Modenas Elit 150S scooter, gold worth RM3,000 and daily cash rewards of RM100.
Apart from encouraging the public to enrich their spiritual journey by watching the Tazkirah Ramadan programme aired on Buletin Utama on TV3 and Buletin TV9 throughout Ramadan, the campaign also invites viewers to stand a chance of winning attractive prizes by using the ATLAS by Bank Muamalat digital application and engaging with the bank’s products and services.
To support the growth of local businesses during the festive season and post-Ramadan period, the bank has also introduced the “BizSolution: DuitNow QR Campaign”, running from March 1 to May 31, 2026, targeting MSME merchants with active Current Account-i facilities, said Bank Muamalat in a statement today.
The campaign encourages increased transactions via DuitNow QR and offers prizes worth up to RM150,000, including two Modenas Elegan 250 EX motorcycles and various cash rewards for eligible winners.
The campaign is organised in collaboration with Bank Muamalat and Payments Network Malaysia Sdn Bhd (PayNet) to expand the use of digital payments among MSME merchants. DuitNow QR is a national QR standard operated by PayNet, with nearly 3.5 million touchpoints nationwide.
In addition, Bank Muamalat, through Muamalat Pajak Gadai Islam, is organising the annual “Gadai Emas Menang Emas 4.0” campaign nationwide from March 1 to Dec 31, 2026.
The campaign aims to encourage the public to utilise Shariah-compliant Ar-Rahnu financing facilities while standing to win various gold prizes with a total prize pool worth RM400,000, including grand prizes comprising gold items as well as monthly prizes of five-gramme gold bars for 40 winners throughout the campaign period.
Bank Muamalat president and chief executive officer Datuk Khairul Kamarudin said Ramadan is a blessed month and an opportunity to strengthen relationships with customers and the business community.
“Through these campaigns, Bank Muamalat not only aims to offer meaningful rewards but also remains committed to providing relevant and accessible Islamic financial solutions that support the overall financial well-being of the community,” he said.
Khairul also said that the initiatives are in line with the bank’s aspiration to expand the use of digital transactions, strengthen the Ar-Rahnu segment and empower local entrepreneurs as catalysts for sustainable economic growth.
Meanwhile, PayNet chief commercial officer Azrul Fakhzan Mainor said PayNet’s collaboration with Bank Muamalat strengthens MSME participation as a key driver of the country’s digital economy.
“This initiative aligns with PayNet’s agenda to empower small traders through digital payments such as DuitNow QR, improve operational efficiency and enhance the competitiveness of merchants, particularly in rural areas such as Kelantan, Kedah, Pahang and Johor, while boosting DuitNow QR transactions during Ramadan and Aidilfitri,” he said.
