TEHRAN, May 23 (Bernama-IRNA) -- The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy has announced that 35 vessels, including oil tankers, container ships and other commercial vessels, have passed through the Strait of Hormuz over the past 24 hours after obtaining necessary authorisation and full security coordination, Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported.
The IRGC announced on Friday that despite the insecurity caused by the aggression of the United States (US) military in the Strait of Hormuz, the IRGC naval force has established a safe waterway for shipping and the continuity of global trade.
Furthermore, the IRGC Navy also reported on Thursday that 31 vessels had passed through the Strait of Hormuz in coordination with its naval forces.
