JKPTG Implements MADANI School And Village Adoption Programmes In Temerloh

KUANTAN, July 1 (Bernama) -- The Department of Director General of Lands and Mines (JKPTG) is implementing the MADANI Adopted School and Adopted Village programmes in Temerloh as a community development initiative that directly benefits the local community.

It said in a statement that the respective programmes were carried out at Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Telok Ira and Kampung Telok Ira, Mukim Bangau, with the signing ceremony of the agreement officiated by JKPTG director-general Datuk Mohd Fauzi Mohd Yatim.

According to JKPTG, the upgrading works at SK Telok Ira and Kampung Telok Ira will commence by the appointed contractor this month (July) and are expected to be fully completed by November.

For the SK Telok Ira community, this programme is hoped to create a more comfortable, cheerful, and conducive learning environment.

"The improved facilities not only benefit the students but also support teachers in carrying out the teaching and learning process more effectively," according to the statement.

Meanwhile, the project in Kampung Telok Ira focuses on improving the quality of life for residents through the enhancement of community facilities, which is expected to create opportunities for community activities, particularly involving the youth to support their physical and mental well-being.

The implementation of the MADANI Adopted School and Adopted Village programmes in Temerloh is the second project under the coordination of JKPTG, following the successful implementation of the same programme in Kota Bharu, Kelantan the previous year.
