KUALA NERUS, Feb 13 (Bernama) -- Terengganu FC (TFC) aim to maintain their winning momentum when they host Kuala Lumpur City FC (KL City FC) in their Super League clash at Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium (SSMZA) here tomorrow night.
Head coach Badrul Afzan Razali said the Turtles must capitalise on their home-ground advantage to secure all three points and improve their league standings.
The 49-year-old coach urged his players to stay focused and withstand the attacks of The City Boys.
"We have seven matches left in the Super League, and currently, we are five points behind third-placed Sabah FC.
"If we want to break into the top three, TFC cannot afford to drop any more points. We will fully utilise our four remaining home matches to collect maximum points to challenge Sabah FC," he said when met at SSMZA.
Meanwhile, Badrul Afzan, a former Terengganu midfielder, also reminded his players to closely mark naturalised striker Paolo Josue, whom he considers a major threat to the Turtles' defence.
According to him, Josue’s ability to convert chances makes him a formidable and dangerous weapon for the opponents.
"Moreover, we (TFC) are also struggling in the attacking department. To be honest, I am still not satisfied with our frontline.
"In almost every match, we create chances but fail to score due to a lack of finishing," he added.
