KUALA TERENGGANU, Jan 4 (Bernama) -- Terengganu FC (TFC) have announced the early termination of the contract of import winger Gabriel Silva.
Terengganu Football Club Sdn Bhd (TFCSB) chief executive officer Sheikh Farouk Sheikh Mohamed Al-Bajrai said the decision was made following a mutual agreement between the club and the Brazilian-born player.
He said the move was part of efforts to strengthen the team ahead of the remainder of the Super League campaign and the upcoming Malaysia Cup.
In a statement today, Sheikh Farouk thanked Gabriel Silva for his contribution to the club and wished him well in his future career.
TFC are currently fifth in the Super League standings with 18 points from 13 matches.
