MINA, May 27 (Bernama-SPA) -- The Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) announced the completion of the fourth Al Mashaaer Al Mugaddassah Metro journey, dispatching pilgrims from Muzdalifah to Mina at 9 am on Wednesday, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
SAR said more than 357,000 passengers were carried on this trip, bringing the total number across the four journeys to over 961,000.
The fifth journey began at 9 am and will continue until 6 pm on the 13th Dhu Al-Hijjah.
SAR noted that its operational plan for Al Mashaaer Al Mugaddassah Metro includes more than 2,000 trips, expected to serve over two million pilgrims throughout the Hajj season.
