NEW DELHI, June 8 (Bernama) -- Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar is attending the D-8 organisation's ministerial meeting in Istanbul on Saturday to discuss Israel's genocidal war on Gaza.
"The D-8 foreign ministers will deliberate upon the shared responsibility of the international community to bring an urgent and unconditional ceasefire, and an end to the inhumane and unjustified war on the people of Gaza," Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
The meeting, which aims to galvanise support for Palestine in the member countries, is set to provide desperately needed humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people, according to a D-8 statement.
The Istanbul-headquartered D-8 comprises Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Türkiye.
