MAKKAH, June 13 (Bernama) -- A health transport convoy with a fully equipped fleet of 24 ambulances had transferred 17 inpatient pilgrims from various nationalities from hospitals in Medina to the Holy Sites on June 9, enabling them perform hajj while undergoing treatment.

According to Saudi Press Agency report, quoting the Saudi Health Ministry, the health conditions of the pilgrims were monitored and evaluated by a specialised supervising medical team accompanying the convoy until their arrival at the Holy Sites.

“The health cluster in Medina, in collaboration with several health sectors, prepared a comprehensive fleet consisting of 24 ambulances equipped with full medical supplies. It also included a specialised medical team of 106 practitioners (doctors, nurses and paramedics) and six ambulances stationed along the migration road between Medina and Makkah.
