CRUDE FUTURES SETTLE LOWER

NEW YORK, July 9 (Bernama-Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Monday, reported Xinhua.

The West Texas Intermediate for August delivery dropped 83 cents, or 1.0 per cent, to settle at US$82.33 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Brent crude for September delivery decreased by 79 cents, or 0.91 per cent, to settle at US$85.75 a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
