NEW YORK, July 10 (Bernama-Xinhua) -- US stocks ended mixed on Tuesday, reported Xinhua.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 52.82 points, or 0.13 per cent, to 39,291.97. The S&P 500 added 4.13 points, or 0.07 per cent, to 5,576.98. The Nasdaq Composite Index increased by 25.55 points, or 0.14 per cent, to 18,429.29.
Seven of the 11 primary S&P 500 sectors ended in green, with financials and health leading the gainers by going up 0.65 per cent and 0.43 per cent, respectively. Meanwhile, materials and energy led the laggards by dropping 1.01 per cent and 0.94 per cent, respectively.
