1.WILDLIFE SANCTUARY EXTENSION BY 10,000 ACRES -- THE GLOBAL NEW LIGHT OF MYANMAR
The Mainmahlakyun Wildlife Sanctuary in Ayeyarwady Region will be expanded by another 10,000 acres to support the flyway of wintering birds. The sanctuary is located along this route and has been designated an important wetland area.
2.POTATO PRICE JUMP AS PRODUCTION DROPS -- THE GLOBAL NEW LIGHT OF MYANMAR
Potato production has dropped in Shan State’s Naungtaya, a leading producer, causing prices to rise by almost 30 per cent. Prices are expected to normalise during the new harvest in late November or early December. Potatoes from the state are distributed across Myanmar.

1.VIETNAM REGISTERS 63 EARTHQUAKES IN OCTOBER -- VIETNAM NEWS
The Institute of Geophysics said Vietnam experienced 63 earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 4.1 in October, doubling the September figures. Sixty of the 63 earthquakes in Kon Plong District in the Central Highlands were due to water accumulation at hydroelectric reservoirs.
2.VIETNAM TO SPEND RM43 BILLION TO PRESERVE CULTURE -- VIETNAM NEWS
The government plans to spend RM43 billion on cultural development from 2025 until 2035. The focus is on cultural and art activities within the country and in Vietnamese cultural centres abroad, and restoring 95 per cent of special national relics in the country.
