1.SEA FESTIVAL TO RAISE CAMBODIA’S TOURISM PROFILE - - FRESH NEWS 

Prime Minister Hun Manet officiated the 11th Sea Festival in Kampot province yesterday. The festival themed “Celebrating Heritage and Sustainability of Coastal Areas,” will be held from December 13 to 15. It will boost Cambodia's tourism sector by showcasing coastal and ecological attractions. 

 

2.PM OUTLINES STRATEGIES TO PROMOTE CAMBODIA-MADE PRODUCTS - - FRESH NEWS 

Speaking at the opening ceremony of Cambodia Trade Expo 2024 on Friday, Prime Minister Hun Manet outlined key strategies to promote local products in the domestic and international markets, from integrating into the regional and global economies to exploring new markets with preferential tariffs.

1.YANGON UNIVERSITY MARKS 60TH ANNIVERSARY  - - THE GLOBAL NEW LIGHT OF MYANMAR

The nation’s premier Yangon University of Economics marked its 60th anniversary yesterday. Since its establishment in 1964, it has played a key role in the country’s economic development. It produced 61,850 bachelor’s degree graduates and 7,587 master’s degree students.

 

 

2.THAI EMBASSY IMPLEMENTS E-VISA IN MYANMAR - - THE GLOBAL NEW LIGHT OF MYANMAR

The Thai Embassy announced that Myanmar nationals and other foreigners in Myanmar are eligible to apply for visas using the new e-visa system starting from 1 January 2025. It will take about 11 to 15 days to process the visa applications.

Vietnam’s business-to-consumers (B2C) e-commerce market has grown by 18-20 per cent in the first ten months this year. The Ministry of Industry and Trade projects that by 2025, the country’s e-commerce market will surpass RM111 billion (US$25 billion).
