The Myanmar Port Authority announced that 62 container vessels are scheduled to arrive at Yangon Port next month. More ocean liners are arriving after the port’s draft was extended 10 metres and 633 container vessels docked this year alone.

The Yangon Transport Authority has announced plans to expand its bus fleet in response to the increase in passengers during the New Year period. Currently, over 800 vehicles are in operation, transporting more than 10,000 passengers daily across 300 different bus routes.
