1. MY XUAN PORT CONSTRUCTION TO BEGIN IN 2025 -- VIETNAM NEWS
The government has approved the construction of the My Xuan International General Port in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province in southern Vietnam. Costing nearly RM1 billion (US$230 million), its construction will begin this year and is scheduled to be completed by 2030.

The Monsoon-Thanh My 500kV transmission line project connecting Vietnam and Laos was successfully commissioned on Friday. The project will enable electricity import from Laos’ wind power plant to Vietnam — adding 600 MW to the national power grid.
