Several state media are now under the Propaganda and Training Board of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party Central Committee. The board will supervise the Lao News Agency, Lao National Television, Lao National Radio and Lao Press.

The Lao Telecommunication Public Company Group has partnered with the Jasmine International Public Company Limited to launch the English Premium Package via “Monomax”.This partnership will allow Lao people to watch football on a monthly subscription.

The newly crowned Miss Grand Myanmar JK Sofia will represent the country at the Miss Grand International 2025 pageant to be held in Bangkok. She outshined 23 other contestants in the national competition to win the crown on June 21.

 

2.MYANMAR AIRWAYS EXPANDS FLEET TO 11 AIRCRAFT -- THE GLOBAL NEW LIGHT OF MYANMAR

Myanmar Airways International added its seventh Airbus A319 aircraft to its fleet on June 23 as part of its regional expansion strategy. MAI’s fleet now boasts 11 aircraft and the new plane will ply on the airline’s most popular routes plus new routes

1.VIETNAM IS SINGAPORE’S EIGHTH LARGEST EXPORT MARKET -  VIETNAM NEWS

Vietnam was ranked as the eighth largest export market of Singapore with an export turnover of more than RM38 billion (US$9 billion) in the first five months of this year. Most of the exports were mobile phones, machinery, spare parts, equipment and components.

 

2.GOVERNMENT REVIEWS CRIMES NATIONWIDE -  VIETNAMPLUS

The government reviewed the fight against smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods and intellectual property rights infringement in the first half of 2025. Poor control, lax management, lack of responsibility, and unclear delineation of functions and duties were identified as contributors to the problems.
