2.‘I HAVE A BOMB’: LION AIR PASSENGER’S JOKE CAUSES FLIGHT CHAOS AND PLANE SWAP -- JAKARTA GLOBE

A Lion Air passenger was detained at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport on Saturday evening after claiming he had a bomb on board a Jakarta-North Sumatra flight, authorities said. The incident forced flight JT 308, bound for Kualanamu Airport in Medan, to be delayed for several hours and reassigned to a different aircraft.

The Taste of Korea 2025 festival held in Vientiane attracted over 100,000 visitors, reflecting strong cultural and business ties between Laos and South Korea. More than 25 Korean companies displayed 90 products ranging from sauces, noodles, snacks and beverages.

 2. NATIONWIDE ARREST TO STOP ILLEGAL TRADE -- THE GLOBAL NEW LIGHT OF MYANMAR

During a nationwide operation to stem illegal trade, enforcement teams impounded 72 containers of industrial materials, 28 tonnes of charcoal and timber weighing 1.525 tonnes, blocks of jade and cut jade pieces. All the goods had no legal documentation.

The meteorology centre announced that northern and central Vietnam will experience extreme hot weather today, which could reach 39 degrees Celsius. Rain and thunderstorms are expected towards night.
