WTI Crude Oil Price Above US$60 Per Barrel Since December 8 - Trading Data

MOSCOW, Jan 13 (Bernama-Sputnik/RIA Novosti) -- Global oil prices continued to rise on Tuesday morning, with the price of a barrel of WTI (West Texas Intermediate) crude climbing above US$60 for the first time since early December, trading data showed, reported Spuynik/RIA Novosti.

As of 07:00 GMT, March futures for WTI crude were up 1.18 per cent at US$60.02 per barrel, marking the first time since December 8 that the price has exceeded the US$60 level.

March Brent crude futures gained 0.8 per cent to US$64.38 per barrel.
