KUWAIT CITY, March 2 (Bernama-QNA) -- The Kuwait Capital Markets Authority announced on Sunday that trading on the Kuwait Stock Exchange will resume on Monday, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.
In a statement, the authority said the decision to reopen the market was made in the public interest and in line with its regulatory and legislative responsibilities under Law No. 7 of 2010.
The move follows the issuance of Resolution No. 24 of 2026. The trading halt, which lasted one day, had been implemented due to regional instability and turbulent conditions in the area.
The authority stressed its commitment to monitoring market developments and ensuring orderly functioning in accordance with its legal mandate.
