ISTANBUL, March 7 (Bernama-Anadolu) -- The Saudi Defence Ministry said Friday that air defences intercepted 4 drones above the Empty Quarter that were heading to the Shaybah Oil Field in the southeastern area of the country, Anadolu Ajansı (AA) reported.
The ministry said air defence systems detected and engaged the drones before they reached their intended target, confirming that no damage was reported to oil facilities.
