NEW YORK, April 7 (Bernama-Xinhua) -- The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) has scheduled two days of interactive dialogues with candidates for the next UN secretary-general, according to the UN website on Monday, reported Xinhua.

In a letter to all UN member states, UNGA President Annalena Baerbock outlined the schedule of interactive dialogues with the candidates, which will be held on April 21 and 22 with a three-hour session for each candidate.

To date, four candidates are in the running for the next UN secretary-general: former Chilean President Michelle Bachelet, nominated by Brazil and Mexico; Rafael Grossi, director-general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, nominated by Argentina; Macky Sall, former president of Senegal, nominated by Burundi; and Rebeca Grynspan, economist and former vice president of Costa Rica, nominated by her home country.
