WASHINGTON, April 11 (Bernama-dpa) -- Former United States (US) vice president Kamala Harris said on Friday she was "thinking about" running in the 2028 presidential election, reported German Press Agency (dpa).
"I might. I might. I'm thinking about it," the 61-year-old Democrat told a crowd at a conference in New York.
Harris was the Democratic presidential candidate in 2024, but lost to Republican Donald Trump, whose second term began in January 2025.
Harris had also launched a bid in 2019, when she announced her candidacy for the Democratic presidential nomination, but later withdrew.
Joe Biden ultimately won the nomination and the 2020 election.
In 2021, Harris took office as vice president alongside Biden.
