TEHRAN, April 14 (Bernama-Sputnik/RIA Novosti) -- Damages to Iran from the United States (US) and Israeli strikes amount to US$270 billion, according to preliminary estimates, Iranian government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani said, reported Sputnik/RIA Novosti.
"Preliminary and very rough figures indicate damages of US$270 billion as of today," Mohajerani said.
According to her, more precise figures will be determined by the government's economic bloc, whose staff is conducting an assessment in several stages.
The first stage is an assessment of damage to buildings, while the second involves damage associated with lost budget revenue and the closure of industrial facilities, Mohajerani added.
Mohajerani noted that the issue of US military reparations to Iran is one of the topics being addressed by the Iranian negotiating team.
