RIYADH, April 28 (Bernama-SPA) -- The Saudi Ministry of Interior confirmed that expatriates who overstay their visas will face a fine of up to SAR50,000 (US$13,330), imprisonment for up to six months and deportation.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the ministry urged all individuals to comply with the regulations governing the 1447H/2026M season and to cooperate with the relevant authorities to ensure the safety and security of pilgrims. Violators will be subject to legal penalties.
The ministry also called for reporting violations by dialling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions, and 999 in the rest of the Kingdom.
