HYDERABAD, May 3 (Bernama) -- A passenger jumped off a plane at Chennai airport after opening an emergency door while the aircraft was taxiing after landing.
The incident involved Air Arabia Flight G9 471 from Sharjah on Sunday morning, local media reported.
Security personnel chased and caught the male passenger, a resident of Tamil Nadu's Pudukkottai district, on the runway.
The runway was briefly shut as a safety precaution and the A320 aircraft carrying 231 passengers was safely towed to a parking bay.
