INDONESIA 

 

1.INDONESIA EXEMPTS US, PARTNERS FROM NEW NATURAL RESOURCE FX RULES -- ANTARA

 The Republic of Indonesia will exempt several partner countries, including the United States, from parts of its new foreign exchange proceeds policy for natural resource export, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said on Friday.

 

2.INDONESIA SENDS 744 TNI PEACEKEEPERS TO LEBANON MISSION -- ANTARA

Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) General Agus Subiyanto officially dispatched 744 soldiers of the Garuda Contingent Task Force to join the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).

 

MYANMAR

 

1.UNIVERSAL EDUCATION INITIATIVE FOR MYANMAR KIDS -- THE GLOBAL NEW LIGHT OF MYANMAR

The government will provide one set of school textbooks, one dozen notebooks, four pencils, and one school uniform for primary-level students during the new registration this year. Students can enrol free of charge for basic education.

 

2.PAGODA CABLE CAR SUSPENDED DURING RAINY DAYS -- THE GLOBAL NEW  LIGHT OF MYANMAR

The cable car services to the Kyaiktiyo Pagoda in Mon State will be temporarily suspended during the rainy season. However, mountain trucks will continue to operate to transport pilgrims during the monsoon period.
