MINA, May 25 (Bernama-SPA) -- The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has raised the readiness of Namira Mosque ahead of the Day of Arafat for the 1447 AH Haj season, as part of integrated operational, technical, and awareness services to ensure a comfortable environment for pilgrims.
The mosque has been prepared with 125,000 square meters of high-quality carpets and enhanced with major upgrades to its infrastructure, air conditioning, ventilation, sound systems, and water services, significantly increasing its capacity to accommodate large crowds, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
It has also been equipped with advanced sound systems and surveillance cameras, while 72 entrances have been organised to ensure smooth movement, supported by continuous supervision. In addition, 150 digital screens and 10 multilingual platforms provide guidance and religious responses.
These efforts reflect the ministry’s commitment to enhancing readiness across the holy sites and enabling pilgrims to perform their rituals with ease and comfort.
