FBM KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, July 22 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed easier on Tuesday, in tandem with the underlying cash market performance.

At the close, the July 2025 contract dropped 5.5 points to 1,519.5, while August 2025 was 6.0 points easier at 1,516.0, and September 2025 shed 6.5 points to 1,497.5. The December 2025 note erased four points at 1,501.0.

Turnover rose to 4,006 lots from 3,393 lots yesterday, while open interest improved to 38,450 contracts from 38,075 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) erased 5.19 points to 1,519.40 from yesterday’s close of 1,524.59.
