BUKIT MERTAJAM, Jan 26 (Bernama) -- The Great British Circus is once again captivating audiences, this time with its dazzling London Musical Show, currently being held at Auto-City Juru, here.
Known for its world-class performances and thrilling acts, the Great British Circus is introducing a unique twist to its production by merging the magic of musical theater with the breathtaking excitement of circus artistry.
The gala premiere of the London Musical Show took place on Thursday night and was attended by children from two Penang welfare homes, Shan Children’s Home and Pusat Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Terencat Akal Seberang Perai Tengah.
The event was officiated by Penang Social Development, Welfare and Non-Islamic Religious Affairs Committee chairman Lim Siew Khim.
The two-hour-long London Musical Show features new circus acts performed by artistes from the United Kingdom and Canada alongside sing-along musical performances as well as dancing, providing a thrilling spectacle for audiences of all ages.

The Great British Circus also donated RM2,500 each to the two welfare homes whose residents attended the premiere show.
In her speech, Lim said the Great British Circus has been an iconic name in Malaysia for the past decade, bringing world-class performances to the people.
“We are honoured to have Penang as one of only two venues selected for this spectacular production.
“This event will indeed help further enhance Penang’s position as a premier hub for cultural and artistic excellence and reflect our state’s growing reputation as a cultural destination,” she said.
Lim also praised the charity initiative as it exemplifies the spirit of corporate social responsibility, which is vital to the development of a more inclusive and compassionate society.
Great British Circus founders Kiril Kirilov and Biliana Kirilova were also present at the event.

Kirilov, when interviewed, said the Great British Circus has been staging performances in Malaysia for 10 years since 2014 and seven times at Auto-City Juru, but this time the production featured something different.
“Every time we come back, we want to change the show and give you a reason to come back again. So, for every show, we will bring something different for the audience.
“Our show last year had a lot more acrobatics and circus acts, but as you can see today, we have a lot of singing, theater and acting, and all the performers are professionals,” he said.
The London Musical Show was earlier staged at Desa ParkCity in Kuala Lumpur.
Performances at Auto-City Juru run daily until Feb 16. Tickets are available online at www.greatbritishcircus.com or the on-site ticketing office.
