Ahmad Zahid Extends Condolences Over Passing Of Kelantan UMNO Veteran Chairman

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 4 (Bernama) -- UMNO president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has extended his condolences to the family of Kelantan UMNO Veteran chairman Datuk Kamarudin Abdullah, who passed away this morning.

In a post on X, Ahmad Zahid described Allahyarham Kamarudin’s passing as a great loss, especially for the people of Kelantan

“Allahyarham rendered great service to UMNO and the community. My deepest condolences to his family. May his soul be blessed, placed among the righteous, and granted Jannah,” said the Deputy Prime Minister.

Media reports stated that Kamarudin, 73, died at 6 am today at his residence in Kota Bharu due to lung cancer.
