KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 7 (Bernama) -- The Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA) has announced key details for its inaugural 2025 SFA International Sporting Events, which include the SFA Expo and Riyadh Marathon.

The three-day SFA Expo starting Feb 5, at Riyadh’s JAX District, serves as the marathon’s bib collection hub and will feature interactive zones focused on sports, health, and fitness, showcasing cutting-edge equipment, wellness activities, and emerging technologies.

The event will also include a business-to-business (B2B) lounge for industry networking and workshops on mindfulness and nutrition, with a highlight on the Primal Race on Feb 7, a functional fitness challenge featuring a series of high-intensity activities interspersed with 400 metres (m) group runs.

Meanwhile, the Riyadh Marathon, set on Feb 8, offers four race categories, namely the 42 kilometres (km) full marathon, half marathon (21 km), 10 km, and a family-focused four km race, according to SFA in a statement.

The routes will take participants past key Riyadh landmarks, such as Boulevard City and Wadi Hanifah, starting from Boulevard World and finishing near Kingdom Arena.

Both events are supported by a strong lineup of sponsors and partners, including Saudi Awwal Bank (SAB) returning as presenting partner, with ASICS and Tawuniya as headline sponsors.

Other sponsors like Gatorade, Aquafina, and PepsiCo will provide hydration, while Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Services Group (HMG) will provide medical assistance at the Expo. Ford will supply race vehicles, and KAFD will host pre-event activities, with MDL providing entertainment through DJs.

As part of the broader Vision 2030 goals, these events reinforce SFA’s commitment to promoting fitness and physical activity as key pillars of Saudi Arabia’s evolving sports culture.

SFA is a proactive community sport and wellness organisation founded to promote a healthy lifestyle in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, aiming at providing access to opportunities for all members of society to practice physical activity.
