Lazada Turns 13: Epic Deals, Exclusive Savings And More

KUALA LUMPUR, March 13 (Bernama) -- Lazada is inviting shoppers across Malaysia to unlock its Epic Birthday Vault, packed with exclusive vouchers, unbeatable savings, and exciting prizes, in celebration of its 13th anniversary as a pioneer in Southeast Asia’s eCommerce scene.

In a statement today, Lazada said the birthday vault is just one of many exciting surprises in store for shoppers during Lazada’s upcoming Epic Birthday Sale from 8 pm on March 24 to March 27.

“From March 19 to 27, shoppers can search for ‘Lazada Epic Birthday Surprise’ on Google to access a special microsite, where they can ‘break’ a digital hippo savings bank to reveal shopping vouchers worth up to RM100 which can be redeemed during the Epic Birthday Sale, starting at 8 pm on March 24. 

“In addition, lucky shoppers will also receive an exclusive digital Lazzie card, which they can repost on TikTok and tag @Lazada_MY,” the statement read. 

Lazada announced that 13 lucky winners holding the winning digital card will have a chance to claim prizes from a RM21,000 prize pool, featuring products from renowned brands such as Apple, Baseus, Dyson, Estée Lauder, La Mer, Laifen, Laneige, Logitech, Marshall, Ninja, SK-II, Sony, and Tefal.

For a hands-on experience, shoppers can visit the Epic Birthday Vault at MyTOWN Shopping Centre on March 22, from 10 am to 10 pm, where they can put their skills to the test by attempting to ‘steal’ a hippo savings bank for a chance to win a second-generation Apple Watch SE (GPS) and Lazada campaign vouchers.

Lazada added that on-site participants will also receive a physical Lazzie card, which they can post on social media to redeem freebies such as ice cream cookies, Jipinhe Scones, and Kung Fu Tea beverages.

“Lazada has plenty in store for shoppers during the Epic Birthday Sale, including campaign vouchers worth up to RM1,000 off, branded deals with discounts of up to 90 per cent and platform-wide Semua Free Shipping.

“There are even guaranteed 50 percent price cuts on selected products, with big savings on Poco smartphones, premium bedding from Jean Perry and AKEMI, gaming headphones, mobile accessories and much more,” the statement read.  

Lazada also announced exclusive Ramadan deals for those observing the fast, with Sahur Deals (3–8 am) and Moreh Deals (8 pm–12 am), offering special bargains on snacks from Signature Market, multivitamin gummies from Mulittea, nutritious goat milk, and Safawi dates, among others.

Shoppers can maximise their savings by stacking campaign and store vouchers, free shipping, LazCoins, and LazCash, with LazCoins offering discounts of up to 60 percent.

They can also earn LazCash by simply typing ‘LazzieChatHunt’ into Message+, with a chance to win up to RM150.

To mark its milestone anniversary, Lazada is also launching RM27 All Out Deals, featuring over RM40,000 worth of limited-time offers, available daily from March 25 to 27 at 12 am, 8 am, 3 pm, and 9 pm, while stocks last.
