SAN Tambunan UPKK Candidates To Sit For Exam At Maahad Al-Kautsar

KOTA KINABALU, Oct 14 (Bernama) -- The candidates of Ujian Penilaian Kelas al-Quran dan Fardu Ain (UPKK) from Sekolah Agama Negeri (SAN) Tambunan will sit for the examination at KAFA Maahad Al-Kautsar Tambunan from Nov 17 to 20.

Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) director-general Datuk Dr Sirajuddin Suhaimee said the relocation of the examination centre was necessary following a fire at SAN Tambunan on Oct 12.

“The relocation is to ensure the safety and comfort of all candidates involved,” he said in a statement today.

He also said JAKIM expressed its sympathy and concern for the students and staff of SAN Tambunan over the unfortunate incident.
