KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 24 (Bernama) – Five renowned artistes from Malaysia and Indonesia will share the stage at the Healing Night 2026 Concert, to be held at Stadium Merdeka here on Jan 24 next year.

Featuring a star-studded lineup including Anuar Zain, Ella, Dayang Nurfaizah, Lyodra, and Kangen Band, the large-scale concert aims to highlight music as a form of therapeutic healing while serving as a platform for regional cultural unity.

Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) Secretary-General Datuk Shaharuddin Abu Sohot described the concert as a regional unifying platform that not only offers world-class entertainment but also conveys messages of unity and hope to society.

“This aligns perfectly with the country’s efforts to promote Visit Malaysia Year 2026 (TMM2026). Cross-cultural events like this not only invigorate the tourism industry but also showcase Malaysia’s uniqueness as a destination rich in cultural diversity and human values,” he said when officiating the concert launch recently.

Healing Night 2026 marks the inaugural collaboration of three local Bumiputera companies — Kembar Nusantara Sdn Bhd, Creative Pitch Sdn Bhd, and Yumeca Sdn Bhd. The concert is more than just entertainment; it invites audiences to experience the positive spirit conveyed through music.

Shaharuddin said the theme of healing makes the concert special, as it carries the meaningful message that music, art, and shared humanity can serve as spaces for healing, renewal, and strength to move forward.

“The holistic approach infused through wellness-inspired activities at the Healing Tents and Rehabilitation Zones highlights the values of empathy and positivity — qualities deeply needed in today’s society.

“May Healing Night 2026 be a catalyst for the continued growth of the arts and culture scene that brings pride to Malaysia in conjunction with TMM2026,” he said.

He added that MOTAC is proud to support the initiative led by local creative companies that have shown strong commitment to the project — demonstrating the capability of Malaysian industry players to lead world-class events and reinforce Malaysia’s position as a regional creative hub.

Yumeca Sdn Bhd Chief Executive Officer Herman Aziz said the chosen theme of healing aims to showcase the positive side of entertainment as a space for emotional recovery and social well-being.

“After the pandemic, people around the world have gone through different stages of recovery or healing in various ways — and one of them, in our view, is through music therapy.

Healing Night 2026 is not just an ordinary concert but a celebration — an uplifting musical experience designed as a therapeutic journey. What makes it even more special is that it brings together iconic performers and production teams at a historic venue,” he said.

He added that the healing theme is reflected not only in the musical performances but also in the stage design, concert atmosphere, and wellness-inspired activities such as Healing Tents and Relaxation Zones for the audience.

Concert tickets are priced from RM190 and are available online at www.ticket2u.com.my.
