KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 30 (Bernama) -- Sabah Perikatan Nasional (PN) respects the decision made by voters in the 17th Sabah State Election (PRN).
Sabah PN Chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ronald Kiandee said the party coalition also congratulated the parties that achieved victory and accepted the results of this PRN with an open heart.
"Sabah PN records its highest appreciation to the machinery and supporters who assisted and voted for PN candidates in 42 State Legislative Assembly (DUN) seats.
"With the victory of the Karambunai DUN seat, PN is committed to strengthening the party's post-general election strength by continuing to empower its machinery structure and uniting the leadership ranks to restore the confidence of the Sabah people in PN," he said in a statement today.
The 17th Sabah PRN saw a total of 596 candidates competing for the 73 contested DUN seats.
