6.0-Magnitude Quake Hits Near East Coast Of Honshu, Japan -- GFZ

​​HONG KONG, Dec 10 (Bernama-Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 jolted near east coast of Honshu, Japan at 14:52:25 GMT on Wednesday, Xinhua reported, citing the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences.

The epicentre, with a depth of 48.7 km, was initially determined to be at 40.87 degrees north latitude and 142.76 degrees east longitude.
