Johor Residents Urged To Remain Vigilant Amid Continuous Rain Warning

JOHOR BAHRU, Dec 23 (Bernama) -- The Johor State Government has advised all residents in the state, especially those in the districts of Segamat, Kluang, Mersing and Kota Tinggi, to remain vigilant, stay alert to current weather developments and comply with instructions issued by the authorities.

Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi in a post on Faebook today said the Malaysian Meteorological Department (Met Malaysia) had issued a continuous rain warning (alert), which was expected to take place from this Friday until next Monday.

“Accordingly, members of the public, particularly residents in the affected areas, are advised to remain cautious.

“The Johor State Government, through relevant agencies, will also continue to monitor the situation closely,” he said, while urging the people of Johor to pray for the state’s wellbeing and protection.
