KUALA LUMPUR, April 1 (Bernama) -- Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Dr Zulkifli Hasan met with members of the Saudi Arabia Malaysian Students Association (PERSADA) in a dialogue session in Madinah before returning home.
He said the session provided an opportunity to exchange views, discuss religious matters, and respond to students’ questions.
“It was a pleasure speaking with these young people, who are intelligent, critical and broad-minded. They are the hope of the ummah. Insya-Allah, they will return to Malaysia with renewed spirit, clearer purpose and hearts closer to Him,” he said in a Facebook post today.
The session was also attended by Malaysia’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Datuk Syed Mohamad Bakri Syed Abdul Rahman, Consul-General in Jeddah Tengku Mohd Dzaraif Raja Abdul Kadir, and Haj Consul at the Consulate General of Malaysia in Jeddah Radin Adi Hilmi Radin Shamsuddin.
Zulkifli also gave contributions to the association and students, expressing hope that the initiative would benefit them.
Zulkifli visited Saudi Arabia to monitor haj preparations and attend the Umrah and Ziarah Forum in Madinah.
