Nga Reviews Preparations For Perak PMR 2026 Official Opening

IPOH, April 3 (Bernama) -- Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming today spent some time visiting the Perak MADANI Rakyat Programme (PMR) 2026 at Bulatan Sultan Azlan Shah, Meru Raya here, which is being held from today until Sunday.

During the visit, Nga inspected preparations for the official opening at the main stage as well as booths from various ministries, most of which had already begun interactive activities with visitors since 9 am.

He also took the opportunity to engage with media personnel at the designated media centre.

The opening ceremony of Perak PMR 2026, which offers over 200 government services across more than 30 booths, is expected to be officiated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim tomorrow.

The Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) is the lead ministry for PMR 2026, with Perak selected as the first location.

The event features public service delivery, lucky draws, Rahmah Sales, Agro Rahmah Sales, security asset exhibitions, job opportunities, and various other interesting activities.

More than 100,000 visitors are expected to attend the three-day people-centric programme, with crowds already seen filling the venue today to access services such as Agro Sales by the Malaysian Fisheries Development Authority, free helmet exchange at the Road Transport Department (JPJ) booth, and free dental treatment at the Health Ministry (MOH) booth.
