IPOH, April 5 (Bernama) -- The Perak MADANI Rakyat Programme (PMR) 2026 at Bulatan Sultan Azlan Shah, Meru Raya here has created a great impact in channeling various benefits and knowledge to visitors from various walks of life.
On average, visitors thought that the programme that provided a space for the public to improve access to government facilities and services, should be continued.
A student of the Teacher Education Institute (IPG) Ipoh Campus Wan Fatisha Fitri Azizan, 19, said that the content of the programme was very suitable to the needs of today's students, especially in understanding education and state policies more in depth.
"Through this programme, we had the opportunity to delve into the concept of MADANI Malaysia in more detail on the six main thrusts that are the backbone of the national agenda," she told Bernama when met at Perak PMR 2026 here today.
Meanwhile, Nur Syafiqah Eimyhisham, 19, who is also a classmate of Wan Fatisha Fitri, described the initiative as very inclusive because it also considered the welfare of students through the provision of various assistance and direct incentives.
She said the programme they participated in under the Ministry of Education (MOE) allowed students to access important information in a relaxed but meaningful way.
"The information presented was also very easy to understand through the question and answer sessions and interactive 'Pocket Talk', and I hope that such beneficial programmes should be continued regularly in the future," she said.
Meanwhile, cleaner Hawariah Junid, 48, of Malim Nawar was willing to take time to visit the various exhibition booths and get basic necessities.
"My main purpose here is to personally join in the excitement of the MADANI Sale and various government agency exhibitions provided to increase our knowledge of existing initiatives that we may not be fully aware of.
Meanwhile, her husband, security guard Rosli Ismail, 51, said they brought their four children to gain knowledge at the government agency exhibition site.
"My presence with my four children is intended to learn more about government services through the exhibition provided, after learning about it (PMR 2026 Perak) from my wife and TikTok.
"Although the weather was quite hot, we still attended by making advance preparations such as bringing umbrellas and hand fans because from a learning perspective, the objective of this programme was indeed achieved to educate children to understand the functions of agencies in more detail," he said.
In addition, Universiti Sultan Azlan Shah (USAS) student Muhammad Aiman Abd Razak, 25, said that direct interaction with law enforcement agencies has enabled him to understand the scope of the security forces' tasks more accurately.
"My knowledge of government agencies has increased when I have the opportunity to ask directly about the scope of the police's tasks, which actually have a very broad responsibility beyond maintaining national security.
"I really hope that programmes like this will be expanded in future so that more people have the opportunity to understand and evaluate government policies and initiatives more closely," he said.
