U-20 Asian Athletics Championship: Malaysia Finishes Fifth In Men's 4x100m Race

KUALA LUMPUR, May 31 (Bernama) -- Malaysia failed to secure a podium finish when they placed fifth in the men’s 4x100 metres (m) race at the Under 20 Asian Athletics Championship in Hong Kong today.

Malaysia Athletics posted on Facebook that Muhammad Sayyid Amin, Danish Irfan Tamrin, Muhammad Umaira Subri and Danish Iftikhar Muhammad Roslee finished with a time of 39.96 second in the final at Kai Tak Youth Sports Ground.

South Korea won the gold with a time of 39.75 s, Thailand the silver 39.83s) and Taiwan bronze (39.86s).

The championship that began on Thursday concluded today.
