KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 13 (Bernama) -- Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin today graced the Hikayat Ariani Fashion Show at the grand ballroom of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
Upon arrival at 3.05 pm, Her Royal Highness was greeted by Ariani chief executive officer, Datin Seri Farah Haryani.
Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin spent around two hours watching the fashion show, which showcased 158 Raya outfit designs, including baju kurung, jubah, kurta, and baju Melayu, offered by the clothing brand for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri in early April.
A total of 300 designs will be available this festive season in various patterns, colours, and materials suitable for all age groups.
The brand also introduced 11 new ambassadors for their Raya campaign, including Siti Khadijah, Siti Saleha, Amyra Rosli, Mawar Rashid, Uqasha Senrose, Amar Baharin, Naim Danial, and Roy Azman.
The event was enlivened by famous male celebrities walking the runway in baju Melayu and kurta ensembles, including Datuk Rahim Razali, Datuk Fizz Fairuz, Edika Yusoff, Arash Mohamad, Rusdi Ramli, Sham Visa, Roy Azman, and Zarul Umbrella.
Ariani also announced a collaboration with Liberty London, a fashion house in London, United Kingdom, at the event.
The fashion show was further jazzed up by performances from several popular local singers, including Datuk Amy Search, Datuk Awie, Ziana Zain, and Dayang Nurfaizah.
