OPPO Launches Reno15 Series In Malaysia, Targets Content Creators With AI, Advanced Imaging

PUTRAJAYA, Jan 6 (Bernama) -- OPPO today launched the Reno15 Series in Malaysia, unveiling three new models; the Reno15 Pro 5G, Reno15 5G and Reno15 F 5G, aimed at content creators with enhanced imaging capabilities, artificial intelligence (AI) features and long-lasting battery performance.

OPPO positioned the Reno15 Series as an all-in-one creative device, featuring a 50-megapixel (MP) Ultra Wide Selfie Camera with a 100-degree field of view, enabling users to capture group selfies, wide scenes and vlog content more easily.

The series boasts integrated AI-powered tools designed to streamline the entire content creation workflow, from capture to editing, often with a single tap.

In terms of endurance, the Reno15 Series is equipped with batteries of up to 6,500mAh and supports 80W SUPERVOOC™ fast charging. The devices run on ColorOS 16 powered by the All-New Trinity Engine, offering smoother performance and long-term reliability, backed by OPPO’s 6-Year Fluency Protection certification.

Building on the design of the Reno14 Series, the Reno15 Series draws inspiration from aurora visuals, featuring a Dynamic Stellar Ring camera housing and a one-piece sculpted glass back.

The Reno15 Pro 5G comes with a compact 6.32-inch display designed for one-handed use, while the Reno15 5G and Reno15 F 5G feature 6.59-inch and 6.57-inch 120Hz displays, respectively.

For photography, the Reno15 Pro 5G and Reno15 5G are equipped with a 50MP telephoto portrait camera using a periscope lens close to the 85mm portrait standard, while the Reno15 Pro 5G also features a 200MP ultra-clear main camera for high-detail images.

The series also introduces AI Flash Photography 2.0, alongside AI-enhanced portrait processing through the Reno Portrait Engine and Skin Tone Improvement algorithm. Creative editing features include AI Portrait Glow, Popout and AI Motion Photo Slow-Mo.

In terms of videography capabilities, the Reno15 Series supports 4K HDR Ultra-Steady Video, Dual-View Video and Seamless Camera Switch, allowing creators to produce smooth, continuous recordings. 

Powered by ColorOS 16, the Reno15 Pro 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 platform with AI HyperBoost 2.0, delivering stable gaming performance. Connectivity is enhanced via AI LinkBoost 3.0, with the Pro model also featuring a dedicated SignalBoost Chip X1 to reduce latency during gaming.

The OPPO Reno15 Series is now available nationwide through OPPO Malaysia’s official and authorised channels, with the Reno15 Pro 5G (12GB + 512GB) priced at RM2,999; the Reno15 5G priced at RM2,399 (12GB + 512GB) and RM1,999 (12GB + 256GB); while the Reno15 F 5G is priced at RM1,599 (12GB + 256GB) and RM1,499 (8GB + 256GB).

In conjunction with the launch, customers who purchase the Reno15 Pro 5G or Reno15 5G can obtain the OPPO Watch S for RM99 until Jan 16. Pre-order customers will also receive complimentary gifts, including a limited-edition Superstar Ollie and a one-year extended warranty.
