FCoEE Committed To Empowering Asnaf Group Via Digital Entrepreneurship Programme

KANGAR, March  31 (Bernama) -- The Faizuddin Centre of Educational Excellence (FCoEE) remains committed to empowering the asnaf group through the implementation of the Digital Entrepreneurship Programme.

The programme is aimed at helping participants adapt to the modern economy through digital marketing, product branding and the use of technology, including artificial intelligence (AI).

FCoEE chairman Prof Emeritus Datuk Dr Kamarudin Hussin said the programme targets 40 participants, comprising those from the Pemangkin Pembangunan Insan Terpilih MADANI (PPITM) Programme under FCoEE, entrepreneurs from MAIPs Asnaf Transformation Academy (ATAM), as well as the small trader community from the Transformasi DiRaja Kampung Nelayan Warna-Warni Seberang Ramai Kuala Perlis Project.

"The participants have good products and basic skills, but need strategic guidance to grow. FCoEE sees great potential among them to emerge as successful and more competitive entrepreneurs,” he said in a statement today in conjunction with the launch of the Asnaf Digital Entrepreneurship Programme and FCoEE Seri Aidilfitri ceremony in Arau yesterday.

The launch was graced by the Raja Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, who is also the Royal Patron of FCoEE, and the Raja Puan Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Dr Hajah Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil.

Also in attendance were the Second Heir to the Perlis throne, Syed Sirajuddin Areeb Putra Al-Haj Jamalullail, and Their Royal Highnesses’ daughters Hajah Sharifah Khatreena Nuraniah Jamalullail and Hajah Sharifah Farah Adriana Jamalullail.

Kamarudin said the FCoEE greatly appreciates the strategic collaboration with Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, in particular the Faculty of Data Science and Computing, which contributed academic expertise and industry experience to ensure the programme's implementation was carried out professionally and with high impact.

At the event, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra also witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between FCoEE, Dosz Academy and ZAHA Bina, in an effort to expand strategic collaboration networks.

In addition, China's National Laureate, Liu Zhenyun, was also present at the event and presented his book titled ‘Tawa dan Tangis’, which will be donated to all school libraries in Perlis by the Malaysian Han Studies.
