Selangor Sultan Presents Appointment Letters To 32 Individuals

SHAH ALAM, May 6 (Bernama) -- The Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, today presented letters of appointment to 32 individuals, including Orang Besar Istana Muhammad Faez Muhammad, at Istana Bukit Kayangan here.

Also present at the ceremony was the Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.

Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari was also in attendance.

Heading the list of recipients was Muhammad Faez, a member of the Selangor royal family.

The Sultan presented the letter of appointment as a member of the Selangor Islamic Religious Council (MAIS) for the 2024-2026 term to Mohamed Onn Abd Aziz, who is Selangor legal adviser, replacing Datuk Salim Soib@Hamid.

Four individuals, namely Datuk Amran Mohd Zain, Datuk Mohamad Shakir Abdul Hamid, Noor Hadina Ahmad Zabidi and Datuk Mohammad Adib Husain, received letters of appointment as members of the permanent panel of the Selangor Syariah Appeals Court.

Abdul Shukor Abd Hamid, Siti Salwa Mohd Nor@Ghazali, Umamuddin Yunus, Marina Abdul Rahman and Norul Aina Bahari received letters as Selangor Syariah High Court judges, while Siti Noraini Mohd Ali, Siti Fatimah Ahmad Maulana, Aminullah Bahrin and Nik Mohd Fitri Nik Yahaya as Selangor Syariah Lower Court judges.

Three individuals, namely Abdul Hadi Umar, Sri Kauthar Mohamad Banun and Harun Hashim, received letters of appointment as deputy registrars of the Selangor Syariah High Court.

Also receiving letters of appointment were Jafri Abdullah as chief registrar of Marriage, Divorce and Reconciliation (Ruju’), Lukman Mohd Hosni as senior registrar, Mohd Rizal Ismail as senior registrar and Wali Raja registrar, and Norawi Endut as Wali Raja registrar.

His Royal Highness also presented letters of appointment to 10 individuals as members of the board of directors of the Selangor Wakaf Corporation.
