"What I understand is that the condition at Kampar Hospital is not as serious as claimed," he said when contacted by Bernama today.

He said his party did not want to rely solely on individual allegations without checking and reporting from relevant parties.

Earlier, Perak Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) in a media statement claimed that there was a leak at Kampar Hospital, affecting several parts of the hospital including the wards and Emergency and Trauma Units of the hospital involved.

Previously, it was reported on social media that there was a roof leak at the hospital, affecting patients during rainy weather.
