KUALA LUMPUR, July 25 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower, tracking the performance of the underlying cash market.
Spot month July 2024 fell 9.5 points to 1,614.0, August 2024 slid 9.0 points to 1,618.5, September 2024 slumped 10.0 points to 1,601.5, and December 2024 dipped 8.5 points to 1,610.0.
Turnover rose to 16,705 lots from 7,062, while open interest amplified to 64,679 contracts from 55,105 yesterday.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI eased 5.96 points, or 0.37 per cent, to 1,615.18 from Wednesday’s close of 1,621.14.
