KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 22 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended on a positive note today, mirroring the uptrend in the cash market.
August 2024 added 7.0 points to 1,637.5, September 2024 climbed 7.5 points to 1,617.5, December 2024 rallied 5.5 points to 1,623.5 and March 2025 bagged 6.5 points to 1,611.0.
Turnover slipped to 5,041 lots from 7,688 on Wednesday, while open interest receded to 49,407 contracts from 52,143 previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose by 6.34 points to 1,641.66 from yesterday’s close of 1,635.32.
