KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 23 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today, mirroring the downtrend in the cash market.
August 2024 slid 3.0 points to 1,641.5, September 2024 reduced 2.5 points to 1,622.5, December 2024 declined 2.0 points to 1,627.0 and March 2025 eased 4.0 points to 1,613.5.
Turnover increased to 5,564 lots from 5,041 on Thursday, while open interest inched up to 49,429 contracts from 49,407 previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI shaved 5.92 points to 1,635.74 from yesterday’s close of 1,641.66.
